Yes. Getting verified is a two-part process: you create a free account, then submit your credential so our team can confirm your authority to request records. "Get Verified" is the outcome: clicking it takes you to account creation, which is the first step.
Who can create a Kodex account?
Law enforcement officers and investigators, prosecutor's offices, and, for a subset of companies on Kodex, law firms (including public defense offices) and regulators can all sign up using an official agency or firm email address.
What do I need to verify my account?
You'll need to upload your required credentials so our team can confirm your authority to request records.
How long does verification take?
Verification times can vary depending on your agency and case. We'll email you as soon as your account is approved. If it's urgent, contact help@kodexglobal.com.
Is there a cost to sign up?
No, creating and verifying a Kodex account is free. Kodex was founded by former law enforcement to give legitimate authorities a way to submit legal process through secure, encrypted channels: a powerful tool built by law enforcement, for law enforcement.
